Privacy Policy

This page explains what LiVa Forming Inc. collects when you use livaforming.ca, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Plain language, no fine print games. If something here isn't clear, call or email us and we'll walk you through it.

When you request a quote or place an order, you give us a few things: your name, phone number, email, and company, plus the project details you type in. If you upload a sketch, drawing, or DXF file, we keep it so we can cut and form the part.

We also hold order records for jobs we've done for you: what was made, quantities, colours, and delivery. That's how a repeat order goes fast, without you re-explaining the same profile. We don't ask for more than the job needs.

We use what you send to answer your quote, produce and deliver your order, and keep a record of the work. Aggregate site activity tells us which pages actually help contractors and which fall flat, so we can fix the site over time. That's the whole list.

livaforming.ca runs Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These set cookies and collect basic technical data: the pages you visit, roughly where you are, the device and browser you're on, and whether you came from one of our ads.

We use it to measure traffic and check whether our advertising reaches the right contractors. It doesn't tell us who you are by name, and we don't sell it.

We're a small shop, so we rely on a few trusted companies to run the business. Each one only touches the slice of data it needs to do its job:

• Google. Analytics, Ads, and Sheets, where we log orders.
• Meta. The Facebook Pixel, for ad measurement.
• Resend. Sends your quote and order emails on our behalf.
• Vercel. Hosts the website.
• Cloudflare. DNS and content delivery, so the site loads fast and stays online.

We share only what each provider needs. We don't sell your information to anyone.

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Ours are used for the analytics and ad measurement above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them. Our traffic numbers just won't count your visit.

We keep quote and order records for as long as we have a working relationship, and for a reasonable period after, so we can honour reorders, warranties, and tax requirements. Analytics data follows the retention windows Google and Meta set. When we no longer need something, we delete it.

Your information sits with established providers that encrypt it in transit and at rest. On our side, access is limited to the people who quote, fill, and deliver orders. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we treat your project files and contact details as private and we don't pass them around.

Under Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, or have it deleted. Email orders@livaforming.ca and tell us what you need. We'll get back to you within a reasonable time, usually a few business days.

If you're not happy with how we've handled a request, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and move the date at the top. Bigger changes get a clearer heads-up. Check back here if you want the current version.
